How many teen pregnancies are "too many"?

At what point do the lives that are changed forever by the contraction of an STI or HIV become more than "an unacceptably high statistic"?

When will we as a society, place the same weight on life saving sex education as we do "reading, writing and arithmetic"?

When will we as a community realize that the lack of access to both family planning and affordable reproductive healthcare carries not only a human cost but a financial burden for local governments as well?

If you believe, as I do, that many of the reproductive healthcare challenges that the families of our community face are preventable by more thorough utilization of existing resources (such as Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando, Inc.), then we would like to have you as an involved supporter! Your gift of $50 can provide pregnancy testing and counseling for two high risk teens. 

Your gift of $150 can cover the cost of one woman's full annual exam including breast, cervical and uterine cancer screening.

Your gift of $300 can provide confidential HIV testing and counseling for five people. 

Your gift of $500 can give a young woman emergency birth control, a full exam and a one year supply of birth control pills.
