Health Care Reform and Women

On November 7th Congress voted in favor of the Stupak-Pitts Amendment, a bill that will undercut women’s access to comprehensive health care. The bill will place abortion bans on insurance companies receiving federal funds. This will effect government plans like the public option as well as private plans that currently cover abortion services. Click on the link below to learn more.
